ERGELIT-KBF 40 revolutionizes sewer construction and rehabilitation. This cementitious one-component corrosion protection mortar with glass fibers sets new standards and enables flexible application, whether by hand coating or wet spraying.
We proudly carry the DIN19573 XWW3 -B1 certificate, which guarantees the highest quality standards and reliability.
Our product offers unsurpassed corrosion protection against municipal wastewater with a pH value between 4.5 and 12. It meets the requirements of EN 206 for exposure class XA2, which means that it can withstand even moderately chemically aggressive environments.
ERGELIT-KBF 40 not only seals reliably against pressing groundwater, but can also be pumped over long hose lengths.
ERGELIT-KBF 40 is extremely user-friendly thanks to its good adhesive tensile strength (depending on the substrate), low rebound under optimum spraying conditions and long working time.
The material is particularly resistant in open structures where weathering such as wind draughts and solar radiation have an effect. The addition of glass fibers greatly reduces shrinkage.

Application
- Repair and coating of damaged, open structures such as rainwater retention basins or sewage treatment plants
- An all-round mortar for coating and repairing wastewater structures with municipal wastewater between pH 4.5 - 12
- Reprofiling of break-outs and defects in shafts, sewers and storage tanks, as well as surface leveling in masonry shafts
- Suitable for manual coating and wet spraying processes
- For new sewer construction and sewer renovation
- Creation of a joint restoration or closure of joints larger than 2 mm
- Tested according to EN 206 in exposure class XA2 (chemically moderately corrosive environment)
- Sealing against pressing groundwater
